As we embark upon a new year, let's begin with a fabulous start by highlighting a few of our SuperStars within the Reel Security family. These guards have been recognized for their "above and beyond" approach to the job by supervisors as well as our clients. Reel Management thanks you all for your continued efforts in making Reel Security a leader in production security.
Reel Security Georgia’s Guard of The Month winner is Oneill Hernandez. He was the consensus winner among all supervisors. Officer Hernandez has been a very reliable and dedicated team member of the Georgia team since 2018. He has received high praises from multiple supervisors and is personally requested by numerous clients who have observed his stellar work ethic up close and personal.
Supervisor Renieka Payne stated, “He is friendly, engaging, and always eager to lend a helping hand. He’s available to come in early or stay late and is the first to volunteer to travel out of town for productions. Oneill is the definition of a true lead guard.” Regional Director of Operations Mark Allen stated, “I have visited Officer Hernandez on post on numerous occasions. He is always knowledgeable about his duties and offers very valuable suggestions on how we can do better from a frontline perspective. Bottomline, he cares a great deal about this company, and it shows.”
When asked what some of his favorite projects were, (which to date, he has worked 85 productions) he stated, “Marvel’s Echo and Black Panther. The gaffers were great to work with because they really showed that they cared about their guards. Also, the locations they filmed at were very interesting.”
When asked, “what advice you would you give to new guards entering the field, Officer Hernandez stated, “I would suggest an emphasis on early arrival to their shift and always have a cell phone battery pack. More importantly always communicate and have fun!” Great advice Oneill!!!
Officer Schwab is one of the swing shift guards at Shadowbox Studios, which is the home for Reel Security Georgia in Atlanta. Officer Schwab received high praise from Shadowbox’s Head of Operations and Facilities, Clayton Lindsey stating, “Walter has really stepped up his game. He is early to his post every day. I’ve seen vast improvement with Walter’s performance. He really seems to care.” GREAT JOB WALTER!
While working on the production, “The Other Black Girl,” Officer Mccanick was observed on her feet, being active on her post. Officer Mccanick not only kept the public away from the set, but she did it while being both professional and pleasant. GREAT JOB CARLETTA!
While visiting the “MEA” location Regional Director of Operations, Mark Allen observed Officer Jordan diligently walking her post and actively communicating with the client and crew. When I approached her, she was aware of all the details of her post. Officer Jordan displays top-notch customer service qualities, while being aware of the importance of being visible to our clients while on duty. GREAT JOB SHERRIE!
Officer Pierce was observed walking her post at the basecamp location for MEA. The location was in the process of a strike. She was interacting with the public, instructing them why they couldn’t park on the lot. She also interacted with the vendors as they arrived to pick up equipment to make her presence felt. GREAT JOB ASHLEE!
